Site visits prepare young talents for a construction job
At the beginning of this week, 6 classes from the VTI Ypres visited our Yperman and Pietershof yards. In this way, these students could become acquainted with construction and learn from our colleagues how the ins and outs on the yard really work.
Verstraete.team, like many of our construction colleagues, is looking for new talent for our sector. By entering into a long-term partnership with technical schools and colleges, we hope to increase the intake in our sector.
Building the future
Our team is constantly thinking about how we can ensure more influx of competent employees in our beautiful sector. As a (self) learning organization, we encourage our own colleagues to share their knowledge with the students through internships, site visits and of course our Open School Days .
We looked for and found good, united partners in various educational institutions who support the same values , mission and vision as Verstraete.team. We therefore thank them for working with us to further stimulate the technical talents of the young people and to prepare them for a challenging job.
