VDAB students visit UPkitchen
Yesterday afternoon we received this group of enthusiastic students from VDAB-Roeselare at our yard UPkitchen. These men follow the formwork training and were able to soak up the atmosphere under the guidance of their instructor Steven Van Coillie (ex-colleague Verstraete.team).
Our team believes in close cooperation with educational institutions in order to make motivated people enthusiastic about construction.
As a construction company, it is nice to be able to contribute to the training of our colleagues of tomorrow!
In addition to their lessons, our project coordinator Oscar welcomed these future talents.
The students were given an explanation about the materials used and about the do's and don'ts on the site.
We are pleased to see Steven flourish in his new job as a formwork instructor at the VDAB. In fact, Steven was our Oscar's mentor in the not too distant past and he coordinated the De Waterdam project (of which UPkitchen is an extension of).
We are delighted that we can continue to maintain professional contact with this top guy in this way!
