Villa P

In Knokke-Heist, Verstraete.team carried out the renovation and extension of Villa P. together with Myth Architects and Thomas & Piron HOME—an exclusive residential property where craftsmanship and technology go hand in hand. 

The existing main building was completely dismantled, rebuilt, and extended. The house was provided with a full basement including a garage, wellness area, and technical rooms. The extension was designed in a classical architectural style, characterized by refined detailing, high-quality materials, and an exceptional level of finishing. The façades were constructed using reclaimed Burgundy brick and finished with Massangis natural stone for elements such as arches and plinths. A chipper and limewash finish allows the old and new elements to blend together subtly. The roof was also entirely renewed and covered with reclaimed roof tiles. The roof timber structure and oak framework were designed, modelled, and prefabricated in Verstraete.team’s own workshop. 

Architectural highlights include basket-arch brickwork, integrated chimneys, and oak ornamental consoles. Inside, the residence is further finished with wooden joinery, natural stone, and bespoke details that reflect the refined signature of both the client and the construction team.
